I’ve not heard this for years, but browsed across it in bed this morning whilst watching a trailer for the fiLm ‘Youth‘. I had to jump out of bed and search t’internet for it, as I’d forgotten what it was. I don’t think I’ve heard it for about 25 years 😦 Better late than never again, though!

I think this is already here but I can’t find it, so I’m putting it in again, just in case. Lovely!
And here’s the Jethro Tull version. Brillzville (though I could live without the middle).
I keep wanting to add something profound to my blog, but there’s nothing better than musicz so here I am posting it again 🙂

Though I prefer the instrumental version. Still looking for that one.
Kudos to the BBC, btw. I’m so used to hearing great music as TV background and being unable to track it down that I almost didn’t bother to Google “The wonder of dogs +music”, but I did, and–lo and behold–there was a list of all 27 pieces of music they’d played in the background. Fantastic! I first heard this tune a couple of months ago on the Miranda Hart tribute to Eric Morecambe, but despite much Googling and questions on web forums I couldn’t identify it. Made my day to find it this afternoon. Good for the BBC!

…putting this up here so I don’t forget it. What a nice Abba tune 🙂 I love Abba!

This brought such a lump to my throat when I heard it at work this morning that I had to retire to the loo.
Anyone out there who has a parent still firing on all/some cylinders, don’t lose the opportunity to tell them how much you love them. You never know when they won’t be able to understand any more.
(My father’s still around, but we can’t really communicate now, because of his dementia. Take care: it can happen overnight.)
